For the past two mornings this little butterfly has been sunning itself on a squash leaf. I guess we are all creatures of habit!
I garden in the Central Valley of California, zone 9/10. Although I can harvest all year, my growing season is 240 days long. My average rainfall is 11 inches a year, with most of it in the spring. My frost dates are November 30 and March 30.
